Un Mundo, Honduras
Un Mundo continues to prove that education can be a powerful force for change. In the Cangrejal River basin of Honduras, more than 60 children with disabilities receive educational support and comprehensive care through its inclusive program—opening opportunities where barriers once existed.

One of these stories is from Cesar Abdiel, a boy diagnosed with spina bifida and clubfoot. His mother, Rubic Yadira Munguía, enrolled him in the program with the hope that he could learn, connect, and live a fuller life.
What began with uncertainty became a journey of transformation: Cesar learned to read and write, improved his behavior, and gained the confidence to interact with others.
With the help of dedicated facilitators and a wheelchair adapted to his needs, Cesar’s mobility—and his family’s life—changed completely. “This program has been a blessing,” shared Rubic. “It gave us strength, hope, and the tools to move forward.”
In communities facing deep economic and social challenges, Un Mundo shows that with empathy, accompaniment, and inclusive education, every step matters in building a more just and hopeful future.
