In western Guatemala, having a good idea is not always enough. Access to training, networks, and mentors who have walked the road before is often missing. NOVA Hub, the entrepreneurship incubation program run by ACD Guatemala, exists precisely to close that gap.
Interest was immediate and overwhelming: 57 people applied. Only 34 were selected — not to exclude, but to ensure genuinely close and personalized accompaniment.
Based on Bridge for Billions’ Conecta methodology, the program combines eight practical training modules with one-on-one mentoring, where each entrepreneur works through their own challenges with someone who has been there before.
By the time the program wraps up in October, more than 425 hours of personalized mentoring will have been completed, delivered by a network of mentors from across Latin America.
But what NOVA Hub is building goes beyond business. Every strengthened venture is a family that can generate sustainable income. Every growing business is a job opportunity for someone else. And every person who chooses to invest in their community rather than migrate for lack of options is a story of rootedness and transformation that multiplies. In western Guatemala, that message carries enormous weight. And ACD Guatemala knows it.
