The Asociación para el Desarrollo Integral Común Ak’ Yuam (ADICAY) continues to transform lives in Senaú, Alta Verapaz, through its project “Clean Water Homes for Indigenous Families.”

Thanks to the installation of a gravity-fed potable water system, 88 families who once suffered from malnutrition and illness caused by contaminated water now have safe water directly in their homes.

Each household receives 90 liters per person per day, improving overall health, hygiene, and well-being.

This project marks a significant step toward reducing disease and child mortality in rural communities—particularly among children under five.

More than just infrastructure, it represents an investment in life, dignity, and sustainable development for the families of Alta Verapaz.
