Peronia Adolescente has become a source of hope for adolescents and youth—especially girls—through its Comprehensive School Support Program. This initiative offers academic, emotional, and developmental support, opening doors to educational, professional, and social opportunities that can help break the cycle of poverty in their communities.

In 2025, the program directly supports 40 children and adolescents from primary to high school levels through tutoring spaces designed as holistic learning processes.

These sessions cover essential topics such as comprehensive sexual education, healthy habits, English and computer skills reinforcement, assisted homework, and psychological support.

The program’s methodology, “I Am, I Can, I Am Worthy,” is based on constructivist and popular education principles. It fosters active learning, dialogue, and reflection grounded in each participant’s lived experience.

Workshops further strengthen vital skills like self-esteem, leadership, resilience, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Since its inception, the program has benefited over 125 adolescents, supporting them with tuition, transportation, uniforms, school supplies, mental health care, and extracurricular activities.

Peronia Adolescente’s impact extends beyond the classroom—it builds community, promotes inclusion, and lays the foundation for a stronger, fairer, and more committed society.
