Leer para Soñar, El Salvador

This year, the organization Leer para Soñar is leading the “My Power, My Voice” project, aimed at empowering adolescent girls aged 14 to 17 by strengthening their self-esteem, autonomy, and awareness of their rights.

Through reading the biographies of influential women, connecting with other young leaders, and training in transformative leadership, participants are discovering their voices and their power to spark change in their communities.

Art plays a central role in the process as a tool for expression and empowerment. Meanwhile, parents and caregivers also engage in workshops on assertive communication, sexual health, and positive parenting.

By the end of the project, these young women are expected not only to emerge as stronger leaders but also to build deeper family bonds, laying the foundation for more equitable and empowered communities.
