United and Powerful: Marching for Our Rights
To commemorate International Women’s Day, children and adolescents from EPRODEP’s “Child and Adolescent Leadership” program took part in two days filled with reflection, creativity, and artistic expression.

The event began with dialogue spaces focused on the origin and significance of the date, recognizing the historical struggles of women to gain their rights. Through readings, podcasts, and videos, students reflected on ongoing challenges, such as delays in legal proceedings against aggressors.

Inspired by these discussions, participants joined a series of artistic workshops—including dance, stilt walking, poetry, theater, makeup, dance, mime, and communication—offering them platforms to express their views on the issues women continue to face today.
The event concluded with a community gathering where families enjoyed performances created by the young participants—featuring theater, dance, and more—reaffirming women’s right to freedom of expression and a dignified life.
This initiative showcases how EPRODEP fosters creative and participatory approaches to recognize the essential role of women in our communities, while promoting a culture of equality, respect, and justice for all.
