More than a scholarship, an opportunity: young people from the Trifinio region advance toward their life goals

In the trinational Trifinio region, where Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala share territory, history, and challenges, education remains one of the most powerful investments in the future. In September, the first disbursement was made for the Trinational Solidarity Scholarship Program,

50 young people from the three countries receive this support to continue their high school studies, with assistance that helps cover transportation costs, school materials, and other needs related to their education.

In this first disbursement, the program reached five municipalities: Sensenti and Ocotepeque in Honduras, Chalatenango Norte and Distrito de La Palma in El Salvador, and San José La Arada and Esquipulas in Guatemala.

Beyond the financial contribution, the scholarships send a clear message to each young person: their effort to stay in school matters, and there are those willing to walk alongside them on that path
