Bringing Water Closer, Building Greater Hope

ADICAY – Guatemala

In the final weeks of December 2025 and the first days of January 2026, the project “Gravity-Fed Drinking Water System” began in the village of San Bartolomé Secaj, San Juan Chamelco, Alta Verapaz.

This first phase, focused on water intake and collection, represents a key step toward ensuring that families in the community will soon have access to safe drinking water close to their homes.

This progress will have a direct impact on health, well-being, and overall quality of life.

The project is led by ADICAY, with the support of students from Lipscomb University (USA), who have joined the community’s efforts alongside volunteers, professionals, and committed donors.

This joint effort reflects the power of trust and collaboration to bring sustainable solutions to life and create meaningful transformation in communities.
