In Sacatepéquez and Alta Verapaz, CasaSito’s extracurricular clubs have become a key part of its youth development program, providing children and youth with spaces to learn, discover their talents, and strengthen skills for the future.
Through 11 clubs—Math, Accounting, Art, English, Spanish, Japanese, Sports, Frisbee, Debate, Mentoring, and Career Guidance—96 young people are developing skills such as critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. At the same time, these spaces promote creativity, self-expression, and overall well-being, while allowing participants to explore their interests and broaden their perspectives.
The impact goes far beyond academic performance. Through these activities, participants are building confidence, developing new abilities, and shaping a mindset that will support them in their future careers, leadership, and lifelong learning.
More than improving in a single subject, they are learning how to navigate the world more effectively and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
