ADUS – Guatemala
With the goal of strengthening the well-being of children and adolescents in Sacatepéquez and Sololá, ADUS promotes a strategy grounded in an important truth: no one is born knowing how to be a parent, but every caregiver has the opportunity to build a parenting approach based on values, love, understanding, and guidance.

Through its work with children, youth, and adolescents, the organization identified various needs related to learning, guidance, and consistent participation in the program.
One of the main challenges was the level of commitment and support from parents and caregivers, a key factor in the holistic development of children and adolescents.
In response, ADUS created the Parent School, a space designed for conversation, shared experiences, and practical tools to strengthen parenting and promote positive practices at home.
This initiative seeks to reinforce the role of families in raising their children, with the belief that better support for children and adolescents today also helps build a society shaped by young people with strong values and principles.
