CRIPDES – El Salvador
One field, 45 dreams. When a community comes together, spaces are created that transform the lives of children. In March 2026, the Asociación para el Desarrollo de El Salvador launched a community soccer school in El Charcón, La Libertad Costa, with the goal of providing a safe space where children can develop their skills, strengthen values, and build community.

Today, 45 children take part in weekly training sessions, accompanied by their families. Through sports, participants strengthen values such as discipline, respect, solidarity, and teamwork in a violence-free environment.
For many families, this space has already become a source of joy and hope. As Claudia Guardado, a mother, shared: “Now the children look forward to training day with excitement. They enjoy coming, learning, and sharing with their friends, which helps build community empathy.”
The school was equipped thanks to the support of partners who continue to create opportunities for the development and well-being of children in rural communities. In addition, the active participation of mothers and fathers has been key to the success of this initiative, helping build an environment of trust, connection, and community care.
